La baguette est le mot le plus contesté en allemand selon la région. On dit "das Brötchen" dans la plupart du nord et de l'ouest, "die Semmel" en Bavière et en Autriche, et "die Schrippe" à Berlin. On comprendra "Brötchen" partout, mais dire "Semmel" à Munich vous donnera un air local.

Ich hätte gern … — literally "I would have gladly". It is the standard polite request form and works for food, drinks, tickets and shopping generally.
+Pour emporter
En France, on peut emporter. L'opposé est "à consommer sur place" ou "à manger sur place". En France, le prix peut être différent car le fait de manger sur place est soumis à un taux de TVA plus élevé.
+Est-ce que j'ai besoin d'argent ?
Often, yes. German bakeries are among the last strongholds of cash-only trade, and many that take cards have a €10 minimum. Ask: Kann ich mit Karte zahlen?

Nein danke, das war's — "no thanks, that was it". Avoid Ich bin fertig, which means you personally are finished, not the order.
