The subtitles don’t appear on a video
Make sure you are signed in to your 3minGerman account (click the extension icon to check), then reload the YouTube page. Dual subtitles work on regular YouTube videos with captions — if a video has no captions at all, there is nothing to display.
How do I sign in?
Click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar and use the sign-in button — it opens 3minGerman.com, where you log in once. The extension picks up your session automatically.
Are the first videos really free?
Yes — new accounts can watch their first videos with dual subtitles for free, no card required. After that, a subscription unlocks unlimited videos, quizzes and reviews.
What does tapping a word do?
It shows the translation and definition instantly, plays the pronunciation, and saves the word to your personal vocabulary — the app builds your quizzes and reviews from the words you tap.
How do I cancel or delete my account?
You can manage your subscription from your account settings on 3minGerman.com. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we'll remove it — see also our Privacy Policy.
