Learn how German yes/no questions work. Start from a statement, where the verb is in second position (Du sprichst Deutsch), then move the conjugated verb to the front to ask a question (Sprichst du Deutsch?). Worked examples show the verb jumping forward every time, and warn against relying on intonation only.
Du sprichst Deutsch. → Sprichst du Deutsch?
Er wohnt in Berlin. → Wohnt er in Berlin?
