Learn to tell the time in German. Use Es ist plus the number plus Uhr for full hours (Es ist acht Uhr); remember halb looks to the NEXT hour (halb neun means 8:30); and Viertel nach means quarter past while Viertel vor means quarter to. Clear examples throughout.
