How to learn this set
Several of these words are built from berichten (to report): der Bericht, die Berichterstattung, and die Berichtigung all share that root, so once you know berichten you can guess the rest of the family and just watch the endings. Notice too that almost every noun for a document or piece of writing here is feminine: die Zeitung, die Zeitschrift, die Broschüre, die Überschrift, die Glosse, die Aufmachung, die Enthüllung, die Falschmeldung, die Kernaussage. Drill those together as one gender group instead of memorizing der/die/das word by word. For der Knüller and die Glosse, which have no direct English equivalent, learn them with a concrete example headline rather than a dictionary gloss.

What is the difference between das Magazin and die Zeitschrift in German?
